United Tribes of America

Today, I'm sharing another elevator pitch, this time from one of the t.v. shows that I've been writing. (note: I use the term t.v. very liberally - this is an episodic series. could be on netflix or FX. it’s all “t.v.” to me 🤷🏾‍♀️)

United Tribes of America

The American Revolution never happened.

Civil Rights as you know it doesn't exist.

Why?

Because when the “pioneers” and “colonizers” came to “discover” America, they met a resistance from the native tribes. Follow the story of these tribes, from the first invasion to establishing themselves as a modern global leader, as they form the United Tribes of America.

Meet Chief, the thoughtful, even-tempered, 30-something year old leader of his Tribe. He hasn’t had a peaceful night of sleep in months. He has been disturbed by intense visions (premonitions?) about the history of the world as we know it. He sees war. He feels death. He is consumed by thoughts that his Tribe’s demise is all but inevitable.

Back in the village, the Tribe’s food supply mysteriously disappears, leaving them at risk of starvation as the cold months approach. They find evidence of the first Europeans. Chief convenes his circle of elders to discuss a plan. Meanwhile, a new fleet of European ships land on the local shores.

Desperate to save his people, Chief forms an alliance with local tribe leaders, and charts a new course that writes an alternate history for himself and the world…….

After the time of the “great invasion”, the native tribes establish the United Tribes of America.

They form government, develop peace treaties with foreign countries, and become a leader in the global economic and political scene. 500 years later, in the early 2000s AD, Chief’s descendent, Chief VI, is elected President of the United Tribes of America. He becomes leader of the free world during a time of great global turmoil. Chief VI must now lead his people and this time on the world stage.
